This exclusive workshop will bring together key players in Brazilian clinical research to build collaborative solutions that expand access, improve efficiency, and empower patients in clinical trials.

On Friday, August 28, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the Instituto Projeto Cura will host the 7th edition of the CURA Meetings Laboratory at the Wish Serrano Resort in Gramado, RS. The event will take place in the Teatro Lupicínio Rodrigues (2:00 PM to 3:00 PM) and the Sala Maggiore (3:30 PM to 5:00 PM). Attendance is by invitation, with limited public registration available.

Held in parallel with the 20th Gramado Breast Cancer Congress, the CURA Meetings Laboratory will serve as a space for dialogue and collective development, bringing together researchers, the pharmaceutical industry, CROs, technology and artificial intelligence companies, and leaders of patient advocacy organizations.

Under the theme "Patient-Centered Clinical Research: Toward Collaboration and Efficiency," the CURA Meetings Laboratory aims to foster a collaborative environment that turns knowledge into concrete action. By encouraging integration among the various stakeholders in the clinical research ecosystem, the event seeks to contribute to studies that are more accessible, efficient, and aligned with the real needs of patients.

The program is structured to present diverse perspectives on the challenges and opportunities in current clinical research. Discussions will be facilitated by Dr. Carlos Barrios, Dr. Alessandra Morelle, and the Scientific Committee, who will lead the collaborative sessions to encourage the exchange of experiences and the development of practical solutions.

The CURA Meetings Laboratory Scientific Committee consists of Roberto Arai, Dr. Heloisa Resende, Fernanda Schwyter, Luciana Pereira, and Dr. Max Mano, who are responsible for the scientific and conceptual direction of the meeting.
