Cura Talks Mama brings together experts, patients and leaders to discuss the future of breast cancer care

In the day March 20, 2026, or Cura Project Institute performs, in São Paulo, the Cura Talks Mama — Symposium on Advocacy in Clinical Research and Patient-Centered Innovation, a meeting dedicated to the dialogue between science and society in the context of breast cancer.

With the theme “From research to real life: information, participation and comprehensive care”, the event proposes to broaden understanding of how clinical research directly impacts people's lives, contributing to more informed decisions, access to new therapies, and an increasingly patient-centered oncology.

Specially aimed at patients, representatives of patient organizations, health professionals, journalists, and influencers, the symposium promotes a space for updating, exchange of experiences, and collective construction of knowledge.

An encounter between science and real experience

Cura Talks Mama will include the participation of medical oncologists, researchers, specialists from different areas of oncology, patients, representatives of civil society and health communicators.

This diversity of perspectives reinforces the purpose of the meeting: to connect scientific evidence, clinical experience and patient experience, making knowledge more accessible and relevant to real life.

Scientific update and dialogue on comprehensive care

The event program includes debates and presentations on fundamental topics for those living with or following breast cancer, such as:

Throughout the day, the format also includes moments of open conversation, such as CURE chat, stimulating questions, reflections and direct exchange between specialists and participants.

Science that reaches real life

One of the highlights of the meeting will be the presentation of CURA Vozes Campaign, an initiative that connects scientific evidence to the real stories of those living the breast cancer journey, expanding the visibility of patients' experiences and strengthening information about Clinical Research.

Cura Talks Mama takes place in parallel with the LACOG-GBECAM Breast Cancer Conference, reinforcing the importance of bringing the scientific community closer to society and to people directly impacted by the disease.

In-person event in São Paulo

The meeting will be held at Grand Hyatt Hotel — Vanguard Room 3, in São Paulo, of 8:30 to 18:15.

Free registrations for in-person participation are now closed, due to the space limit.
